"I don't know if you remember me, but I had a cat named Sammie that passed in January of last year. I was so sad. I missed her every day more than I ever thought I could. I remember you and your kindness every time I think of Sammie. I wanted you to know how much I appreciated your kindness, and tell you a short story about the marker I purchased from you..

I was at my parent's house in upstate NY for Thanksgiving where my sweet Sammie is buried. The yard was filled with leaves beyond belief. My mother's dog is buried down the hill from Sammie, and his stone was submerged in leaves, basically indiscernible. I thought I would have to search for Sammie for awhile. My heart sank at the thought of not being able to find her easily. I had decided to have my Dad lay the stone flat once the land settled a bit.

I went across the land to where I remember my Sammie being, scared that I was not going to find her easily... Lo and behold, I found her on the first glance! The beautiful stone I had purchased from your company was just the right height! It did not catch and trap the leaves like my Mother's boulder memorial had done. Not only was it in plain site, but the carving had aged a bit making the stone even more beautiful than when I received it from you.

I want to say THANK YOU for being so kind when I really needed someone to understand, and to give me something that was dignified and subtle like my Sammie was. Know that you gave at least one person this year one of the greatest gifts of all - the knowledge that there are others that respect animals as much as their owners do, and a product that illustrates that respect.
